Mike Holke
CEO & Consultant
Mike holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and has spent his career in transportation safety, serving as a Safety Manager, Director of Risk Management, and Vice President of Risk Management for fleets of various sizes — building safety, recruiting, quality, and HR departments from the ground up.
He is a Certified Director of Safety and Certified Driver Trainer through NATMI, with additional certifications in lean process improvement, six-sigma, ISO, root cause analysis, human resources management, accident investigation, and DOT compliance. Mike is an active member of NATMI, the Ohio Trucking Association and its Safety Council, and has been involved with the American Trucking Association, Michigan Trucking Association, AIAG, AHAA, and the National Safety Council.
Mike's combination of hands-on fleet experience and deep regulatory training makes him a trusted partner for carriers looking to strengthen their safety and compliance programs.
Shannon Holke
Compliance Coordinator
Shannon brings over 10 years of experience in the transportation industry, having worked across a wide range of critical roles. She has served as a Damage Claims Manager for a large auto hauler, and has held positions spanning safety, recruiting, compliance, and vehicle maintenance oversight.
Her broad, cross-functional background gives her a well-rounded understanding of what it takes to run a compliant and efficient fleet — from the driver seat to the back office. Shannon is committed to helping carriers navigate the operational and regulatory challenges of the transportation industry with practical, hands-on expertise.
Treasure Phillippi
Consultant -Certified Safety Director
Treasure has over 15 years of experience in transportation, having worked with fleets of all sizes across a range of roles. She is a Certified Director of Safety and Certified Occupational Safety Specialist through NATMI, holds an OSHA General Industry 10-hour card, and is a Certified Specimen Collector for the FMCSA.
Her background includes driver training, recruiting, IFTA reporting, CTPAT, drug and alcohol testing program management, and HR management through SHRM. Treasure is dedicated to helping fleets stay compliant with federal regulations through practical guidance and clear communication.
Marissa Lutz
Compliance Administrator
Marissa works within Safety1st's compliance department, where she oversees driver files and employment verifications. She has spent the past three years in this role, developing a strong command of the documentation and regulatory detail required to keep driver qualification files accurate and audit-ready.
Marissa's attention to detail and consistency in this area helps ensure our clients' driver files meet FMCSA requirements and stand up to scrutiny.
